Catonsville 4th of July 2011
We had our traditional 4th of July celebration….the Catonsville Parade, a cookout with neighbors, and fireworks (this year was the Best Ever).
Beth got an early start on the day joining a local 10K run….she clocked a time of 1 hr 15 minutes while Tom Sr cheered her on from multiple locations along the course through Arbutus.
We watched the parade from our curbside seats in front of the library (of course)….. a two hour procession of fire trucks, bands, local politicians, a red-white-and-blue dog, the Lone Ranger, church, school, and other community groups, the Maryland Accordion Club, Shriners on motorcycles, Corvettes, VW bugs, WW2 Jeeps, and a helicopter flyover.
